Trisha's Homework

Tulips in Fairhope, AL. I like this picture b/c of the highlights on the tips of the two tulips in focus as well as the shadows on the petals. f/10, 1/500 sec. ISO 200, no flash

If only I had a macro lens.....f/10, 1/100 sec. ISO 200, no flash

f/5.6, 1/320sec., ISO 200, no flash

While it's a little overexposed, I like this one because it was a random donkey in a cow pasture. I was taking pictures of cows on the side of the road in Alabama and up walked a donkey. The overexposed part though looks like a little haze in the background and kind of blankets the donkey as well. Goes well with his mood, I didn't think he liked me taking his picture from the look in his eyes.

  1. I sure like the composition on these three photos. Nice job! The tulips remind me of trips to Holland, Michigan where they'd have lots of tulips around town.

  2. I want to tell you that I love my macro lens. It was a worthwhile investment.
